Platform adapters

Platform adapters, sometimes refered to as Cart adapters, creates orders and manages carts. The most common use case is that you have a cart (or basket) ready in your platform and use a platform adapter to create a Norce Checkout order from it. Updates of the cart can then be done through the platform adapter, or in the platform by then informing the platform adapter of the change.

These adapters can also provide customer information, shippings and even payments in some cases. If a customer signs in to the platform to identify themselves, the cart adapter can use that information in Norce Checkout.

You can also have the adapter export or synchronize the order back to the original platform. In effect resulting in a completed order in your platform once the order is completed in Norce Checkout.
